Position of Tool-bars on screen

Hello all,

I have used TinyCAD intermittently over several years.

Until now the drawing tools appeared in a single row, across the top of the screen, with the exception of the symbol picking tool. The picking tool lies to the left side of my screen.

So - to repeat - the drawing tools, the block tools, the XY cursor location display, the text tool and so on, were at the top of my screen, in a single row. Now they are displayed in several short rows, at the LH top of the screen. I can supply a screen grab if my description is not clear.

(1) Has anyone seen this before?
(2) Is there a way of returning the tool-bars to their "normal" position?
(3) If I re-install TinyCAD will this resolve the problem?
(4) My OS is "XP". Yes, I'm a luddite.

Thanks to anyone who can help.

Les

  • Hi Les -

We made the tool bars dockable some years ago. It sounds like yours have
redocked in the wrong place, for some reason. Try grabbing them like other
tool bars in other programs and then dragging them to which ever edge of the
    screen that you prefer.

  • Hello Don,

Thank you for your help - the tools are now in the original position.
    TinyCAD is a great program.
I use this as a novice - not in a professional sense, but it meets most of my drawing needs.
